Ookawachi (Saga Prefecture) blue and white, with celadon overglaze, from the firings of the Gendayu Kiln, Spring 2002. A slightly quirky design of boulders, waterfall, and hermit retreat. Chinese composition with eccentricities that can only be Japanese. Artist is Kawazoe Noriyuki, in his 30's, or perhaps his mother who is also an eccentric artist. diameter 14.4 cm, height 3 cm.
