Naga017 Chinese sages and pine tree plate

Inban (stencil transfer) kakuzara (octagonally cut square) plate. Design in center is of three Chinese sages standing under a pine tree at the edge of a surging sea. Border design of cherry blossoms, chrysanthemum. Very good transfer. Back design-4 fan lozenges. Hand thrown and fired, c. 1880.
