Naga028 Dragon and red peony vases

A pair of Chinese wucai (five colors overpainted) from the Jingdezhen 景徳鎮kilns with a design of green and red dragons floating in a yellow-green Karakusa (trailing vine) background. The top band is of red peonies. Geometric designs at the very top and bottom are in blue and yellow, resulting in a striking and decorative effect. Stamped year date on the bottoms is for the Kang Xi era (1662-1722), though probably of a much later date.
