Ookawachi olive green, blue, and white porcelain incense burner with incised top in the design of a temple dog (komainu 狛犬). Body design is of a white camellia. Both the body color and flower color are extremely difficult to achieve. Thus, this piece is rare and expensive if perfect. My example has a slight imperfection in one of the legs. Modern. Bottom width: 8 cm., body circumference: approx. 32 cm., height: approx. 16 cm. Signature is 鍋島焼、大秀作　Nabeshima-yaki, Daishu-saku.
