Naga046 Ookawachi Gendayu kiln bowl

Ookawachi Gendayu kiln. Blue and white porcelain bowl executed on the inside with a sansai landscape. Underlying the landscape are lines from the Lotus Sutra. Outside surface in the design of wild iris-signed Matsuko or Shoko 松子 I believe, Kawazoe Noriyuki’s mother. The bottom carries the incription: Auspicious day in March, 2002. Gendayu, perhaps Nabeshima no sato yaki. 鍋島の里焼、玄太有氏、平成十四年、三月吉日　Base: 8 cm, upper lip width: 20.5 cm, height: 9 cm.
