Naga050 Nabeshima octagonal serving tray

Nabeshima blue and white porcelain serving tray, octagonal kakuzara popular for a short period in the 1880s. Design is of chrysanthemum, peony, and cherry blossoms with an overglaze of green celadon. Back side has design of paired bats, and pine branches. Signature is stylized and hand brushed, but seems to be that for other pieces from 1750-80. Top to bottom: 30.5 cm. side to side: 39.3 cm. corner to corner: 38.5 cm.
