Naga111 Pair of Mikawachi Somei Kiln bowls

Pair of Mikawachi bowls in an Oribe ware type of color and design, but with a mixture of porcelain clays. From the Somei Kiln 宗明窯　(See also #067 and #112) Design of egrets over a ricefield田園に鷺. The base of the bowls have three attached feet, and an incised mark of So 宗 Top Length: 14.8 cm. Top Width (at widest point): 12 cm. Bottom inner edge width: 13.5 cm. Height: 5.5 cm.
