Arita blue and white kakuzara (octagonal plate) with inban stencil transfer design of a sansuiga (mountain and seascape in Chinese style) in the center, and a border of alternating sections (4 each of diamond lozenges and modified sunburst diamond) Inner design carries a ring of Chinese key design. The reverse carries 4 stencil lozenges. Slight chip in upper left hand corner of the backside. Late Nineteenth Century. Top width: 20.5 cm.Corner width: 24.5 cm. Bottom diameter: 11.5 cm. Height: 3 cm.
