Naga152 Pair of Ookawachi Bunzo bowls

Two bowls with pouring spouts for broth, shoyu, or other sauces, from the Bunzo kiln in Ookawachi, part of the Nabeshima village. See 032 for another Bunzo design of three stacking food boxes. Great use of cobalt underglaze blue and white in an interior design, in three bands, of a fishing weir, the sea, and a fishing boat. Signed Bunzo 文三on the bottom. Width at widest point 15.5 cm., height 7 cm., bottom circumference 5.3 cm.
