Naga209 White elephant vase

A mystery vase of a shape that I have never seen in Japan. Perhaps Chinese, or even from a European kiln. White porcelain, octagonal, with four looped elephant head handles, and four rolled feet. I feel it is 1925-35. Looks wonderful on a high table. No signature. Width approx. 8 cm., height 28 cm, width of mouth 12 cm. Glazed inside and out.
