Naga279 Square yixing teapot

Yixing teapot in a beautifully incised, stamped seal script text on both sides. Square with hand-crafted spout and handle. One side informs us that the piece is from the Newtown 新村of Yixing and is of ‘purple clay’ 紫砂 The other side tells us that the original stamp was incised by Guei Songma at age 70. Hairline crack at top. Modern Width 17 cm., height 13.5 cm.
