Arita akae bowl set. The design is Chinese-Persian and done in the traditional red of the Kami-Arita artists. Overglaze green and blue as been hand-applied. Lavish use of gold on rims and in the globes. Modern. Diameter 16 cm. and 8cm., height 6 cm. and 3 cm. respectively. The mark on the back says ‘Kirameki’ for brilliance. Both pieces are designed for elegant restaurant use and are fired from the best quality strengthened porcelain.
