Naga335 Arita inban Japanese traditional winter plant plate

Arita blue-and-white stencil plate from the Meiji era, late 19th century. The design is of shochikubai, the three friends of winter: pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms. Diameter 30.5 cm., back rim diameter 20 cm. The back carries three stencil designs of a camellia. One kiln stacking mark. No company mark. Yamatoku or Koransha.
