Naga338 Mikawachi Yokoishi Yoshiaki's tea bowl From the Mikawachi area, the Somei宗明窯 kiln, a summer tea bowl, using a Karatsu type clay, rather brown and gritty, in a masterful design of swirls and three cherry blossoms. Though from Mikawachi, the materials and style are not at all like others in the area. Mr. Yokoishi Yoshiaki 横石芳明and his wife are proprietors. See also # 067, 111-112 for other works by the same potter. Diameter 16.8 cm., back rim diameter 5.3 cm.
