Naga340 Arita small pine bough and Chinese vine bowl

Arita hand painted bowl, Taisho era 1920’s, in a blue-and-white design of small pine boughs and Chinese vine. Same design inside and out. No mark or company seal. I have seen a western style tea pot with the same design (see my # N 101), as well as small bowls for soy sauce elsewhere in this collection. Refreshingly simple and modern design. Diameter 20.5 cm., depth of bowl 6 cm., height 7.2 cm., diameter of bottom rim 8.8 cm. Hairline crack in glaze.
