Naga351 Arita huge pine tree and landscape bowl

Antique Meiji era, late 19th century, deep bowl in a hand-painted landscape characterized by a huge pine tree in the center. High mountains predominate in the background. Criss-cross hatches to represent trees is innovative. Looks almost like scaffolding. Diameter 27.2 cm., height 11 cm., bottom rim diameter 11.2. The reverse carries a design of mountains and trees. No mark or signature.
