Antique Meiji era, late 19th century, Mikawachi, perhaps even Arita, deep bowl in a hand-painted landscape characterized by the pavilion in the foreground. Boldly drawn. Very freely drawn floral design on the reverse. The signature reads Kan 漢. No stamp. Diameter 24.8 cm., height 10.8 cm., bottom rim diameter 11.3 cm.
