Naga373 Koga shirabyoshi bisque doll

Koga doll from the Nagasaki area in the figure of a lovely shirabyoshi, a dancer in white kimono and a manfs eboshi hat, who entertained as well as sold her sexual services. Hand-formed, hand-painted bisque. Though faded, the eyes still shine in intriguing delight. Meiji era. 1900 Width 15 cm., height 29.5 cm.
