Naga404 Japanese peacock half-width sash

Heko-obi へこ帯, a half width obi worn for less formal occasions. This piece has been remade in the 20th century from a much older full obi, probably from the mid-nineteenth century. Silk in a repeating jacquard design of peacocks amid clouds. 3.86 m x 0.14.5 cm.
