Naga406 Hakata-ori half-width sashes

A set of two Heko-obi, half-width sashes worn for less formal occasions, from weavers in Hakata, modern Fukuoka, Kyushu. Well-known in Japan as Hakata-ori 博多織, twilled silk in repeating bands of lozenges and stripes. Paired here with a plain obi in a similar color of moss green. Banded obi in colors of gold and green. Silk 3.55 m x 0.15 cm., and 3.96 m x 28 cm.
