Naga411 Kabuki Kanjincho cotton hankerchief

Cotton hankerchief in the design of the costume worn in the Kabuki Dance drama eKanjinchofi, purchased at the Hakata-za Kabuki theatre in 2004. The design in black and gold is of Sanskrit letters and the wheel of the Buddhist law. The costume is worn by the priest Benkei as he attempts to sneak his master Yoshitsune through the Ataka barrier gate that will allow them to flee from the capital area. The story itself comes from tales of the exploits of the Minamoto and Taira families at the end of the 12th century. 1 m square.
