Naga437 Kurumegasuri full-length kimono

Full length kimono for women in a modern Kurumegasuri fabric. Kurume 久留米is the name of the town in the old Province of Chikugo 筑後, modern Fukuoka 福岡that has woven these marvelous ikat fabrics since the 18th century. Most are cotton, but I have also seen silk from this area. The design seems to me like chain-mail links. 1960’s.
