Naga464 Chest for plates and utensils Chadansu\y or a tansu chest used in the living area of a traditional Japanese home for storage of tea cups and canisters as well as other small serving dishes and household goods. Early Showa era, 1930fs, with two glass sliders, two sets of wooden sliders, three drawers, and a slip-out door for tea utensils. The wood is much lighter than sugi cedar, perhaps pear, peach, or another fruit tree.
