Naga484 Tortoise shell design crystal vase

Crystal vase in amber tortoise shell design, with a base tray of zelkova (keyaki). 1920’s. Probably Nagasaki where tortoise shell products have been well known for centuries, though not in production now due to international laws on the protection of species.
