La Geisha Kiyoka, Tokyo 1935 Oban
@
 |
Portrait of a geisha who seems to be of mixed blood. Her lips are full and lustrously pink from the application of ground coral in the pigment, while her kimono is in Deco colors in a design of the Genji scents. Kiyoka sits on a green pillow and holds a copy of Jacouletfs first published design of the young girl from Saipan against a yellow hibiscus.
