Naga501 La Pipe a Eau. Chinoise 1952 Oban

‘Waterpipe,’ from 1952 gives a marvelous, voluminous portrait of a middle-aged Chinese woman with her hair tied in a bun, smoking a brilliantly decorated pipe. She is seated at a small cafe table covered with a gossamer silk throw. Her winter robe is a beautiful ochre while the background is done in yellow tinted mica. This print carries the special PJ seal of a print thought by Jacoulet to be superior.
