Naga502 Le Phare de Mikomoto. Shimoda Izu 1953 Oban

@

eThe Mikomoto Lighthouse in Shimoda, Izuf portrays the then President of the Izu Rapid Express Train Company, a private line that still whisks customers from Tokyo to the tip of the Izu peninsula, an area of beautiful seascapes and onsen, in little over one hour. Could this be Mr. Kuroda whose son and grandson I once visited in their house in Kawadzugahama near Shimoda? The manfs cotton summer yukata is in a brilliant design of dragonflies against an azure sky and frothy sea. He is about to partake of a meal of sashimi and hot sake. While his garment and the sushi plate are in brilliant colors, the landscape and sky surrounding the lighthouse are subdued as if before a storm. Jacoulet also put his red PJ seal on this one. The lighthouse, of course, always denotes male sexuality. Could this man have been one of Jacouletfs special friends?
